In 2019, Yellow Springs Home, Inc. completed the Forest Village Homes rental project, which serves very low and low-income senior and special needs households through highly energy efficient, fully accessible/adaptable one- and two-bedroom apartments. Adding six permanently affordable, quality, accessible rentals to the community, it was a first step in addressing the pent-up demand for affordable rental housing in Yellow Springs. Each rental includes a washer and dryer and is fully wheelchair accessible.
